While The Mandalorian was received positively, and Andor is considered one of the best, other entries have disappointed fans. As a result, fans took to Reddit and discussed the state of Star Wars shows, arguing which one had the chance to redeem itself with a second installment.
User @Jedi-master-dragon commented, “BOBA FETT. I don’t think Kenobi really needs a 2nd season. The story was wrapped up nicely.” Meanwhile, user @KillJarke stated, “Do boba and actually make him a ruthless bounty hunter.”
Similarly, another user @Heavy-Ostrich-7781 added, “Boba Fett. So easy to fix.” The user further explained how the series could be redeemed with a focus on the underworld and connection to Thrawn.

From the fan comments, it is evident that The Book of Boba Fett holds the most potential to improve. The series is a spin-off of The Mandalorian but saw its latter half hijacked by its parent series. It was also criticized for its poor characterization, which fans hope will be fixed in a potential season 2.
Fans Explain Why Obi-Wan Kenobi Does Not Need a Season 2
In the same thread, fans also discussed the fate of Obi-Wan Kenobi, which was a project that fans had anticipated for a long time. It marked actor Ewan McGregor‘s return to his iconic titular role for the first time since the prequel trilogy.
However, fans felt that the series had neatly wrapped up the veteran Jedi’s story and did not necessarily warrant a second installment. Fans argued that the series had a reasonably self-contained story and did not need to overstay its welcome.
Meanwhile, some fans also joked that the series could go on for ten seasons with pointless drama and meaningless duels between Obi-Wan and Darth Vader. As a result, it is safe to say that fans aren’t excited at the prospect of seeing more of Obi-Wan in the post–Revenge of the Sith timeline.
On the other hand, fans were more divided about the fate of The Acolyte, the most recent addition to the franchise. While fans want to see some of the plot threads picked up in a potential second season, they expressed a desire to see Lesyle Headland replaced as the showrunner.
