Dwayne The Rock Johnson is probably one of the best physically built actors in the industry right now. It is not a secret to anyone that the actor really works hard in order to maintain that physique and he has also been very vocal about his transformation journey from that of a fat kid in high school to his absolute boulder-like physique right now.

The Rock trained hardest for his role in Black Adam

In an interview last year with Men’s Journal, The Rock talked about playing the role of Black Adam and making his debut in the DC Extended Universe. The actor revealed that he pushed himself to his limits to train for the movie and tried to surpass his own physical capabilities. He said, “The training we did for this movie was the most arduous I’ve ever done in my life.”

The Rock revealed some more details about the project and said,

“In all honesty, this project has been with me for 10 ten years now. The process began when we started to stand the material up and really developed it into what it is present day. Once the start date was agreed…I started to build an exhaustive training program with my coach Dave Rienzi.”

The actor further revealed that he wanted to come into “the best shape of his career” to play the role of Black Adam.

The Hercules actor also talked about his insane eating schedule

To maintain a strict body mass of almost 260 lbs with toned muscles and a ripped body, one has to follow a strict eating schedule, and The Rock is no stranger to that. The actor revealed in the same interview that he eats 6-7 meals every day. When asked about his “dietary strategy“, The Rock replied,

“I eat somewhere between six and seven meals a day, and I try my best to make them as balanced as possible with proteins, carbohydrates, good fats—and the occasional sugar at the right times of the day. Dependent on my schedule—and my short- and long-term goals for the week, month, and year—it can be challenging.”
