During the previous month, the actor Patrick J Adams, popular for playing Mike Ross in Suits, took a stroll down memory lane, reliving his days on the set of the drama. He embarked on the nostalgic journey by recalling a series of photos featuring his former co-stars, such as Meghan Markle, Sarah Rafferty, Gabriel Macht, and many more. And thus shared all these throwback pictures in a now-deleted Instagram post captioned “I miss my friends.”
As of July 14, the union SAG-AFTRA joined WGA in a strike. Throughout this period, union members are barred from endorsing any projects falling under SAG-AFTRA’s contract, marking a period of profound industry tension and restraint as a whole. Thus, these pictures of the cast were met with significant criticism.
Patrick J. Adams Apologised to His Instagram Followers
The actor promptly deleted his Instagram post and sent out an apology on his stories stating,
“The last couple of days I foolishly and thoughtlessly let a trip down Suits memory lane distract me from the very real and ongoing fight everyone in @sagaftra continues to wage in its effort to win our membership realistic 21st Century compensation and protections.”
He then added,
“It was an embarrassing oversight for which I’m incredibly sorry,–So grateful to those who gently and swiftly course corrected me here. And I look forward to continuing the fight in the days and weeks ahead.”
Therefore, even though the actor shared the pictures amid the strike, it was unintentional, and he swiftly took responsibility for his actions.
