Talking on The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Roundtable, the Suicide Squad alum dropped her eye-widening and shiver-inducing revelation through a seemingly harmless anecdote. She reflected on how every human being has an intriguing story to tell, and this belief strengthened through a game she partook in during a film’s shooting.

The director of this particular project urged the cast and crew to write down the “craziest thing” that happened to them in their lifetime. Explaining how it transpired, the actress stated:
“I had spent two months with this group of people … and everyone seems … normal. And then everyone had to write down the craziest thing that happened to them, and it was released on the last day, and you had to guess whose story matched up with who.”
Participants had to determine which person’s tale fit who, and the writing down had to be without mentioning one’s name. When it came time for people to match Robbie’s story with hers, they couldn’t.
The actress’ revelation? “I once found—and no one guessed that this was me—I found a human foot on the beach in Nicaragua.”
It goes without saying that the laid-back admission shocked everyone at the roundtable, with Octavia Spencer, in particular, responding with a hilarious expression.
The Barbie Star Joked About The Unconventional “Souvenir”
In her anecdote, the actress emphasized, “Everyone has a story.” This came from her learning of the experiences others in the film’s cast had endured. She remarked that someone had been “engaged to the princess of Zanzibar.”
Another person’s story involved being in a plane crash where only ten people survived. “It just reminds you there are fascinating stories everywhere.”
The Wolf of Wall Street star’s fascinating story happened to be stumbling upon a severed human foot while visiting Nicaragua in 2014. No biggie. Casual stuff.
In response to Margot Robbie’s grisly tale, Spencer remarked, “Oh, wow, death!” Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston followed it up with a morbid joke, “She [Robbie] uses it as a doorstop.”

At least twenty severed human feet have been discovered on the Salish Sea beaches of British Columbia, Canada, and Washington, US, since August 20, 2007 (via Big Think).
