The current Major Order has ordered players to liberate Varylia 5 from Automaton forces and by completing it, players can get their hands on a new Stratagem called EXO-49 Emancipator Exosuit. Amidst this battle, a Helldivers 2 player has put the spotlight on a major problem.
While fighting Automaton forces, many players tend to ignore Gunship Fabricators, probably because destroying these fabricators is a difficult task and players prefer to focus on the main mission first. However, this player believes that players should take it down when they see it, also asking them to stop reinforcing someone halfway across the map if they are trying to take it down.

A Reddit user named professional_idiot1 is asking the Helldivers 2 community to stop ignoring Gunship Fabricators. In a lengthy post on the r/Helldivers2 subreddit, the player asked the community to take down Gunship Fabricators they are “extremely dangerous,” and “should be dealt with rather sooner than later because every time I chose to do them later it came back to bite me.” Most of the players indeed ignore Gunship Fabricators simply because of how difficult it is to take it down, but it gets easier when the whole squad focuses on it.

There are many ways to take down a Gunship Fabricator. Weapons like Eruptor, Auto Cannon, and Anti Material Rifle have proven to be effective if players shoot the thrusters.

It makes sense why this player posted this concern right now as most of the community is fighting Automaton forces to complete the current Major Order. By liberating Varylia 5 in the Trigon Sector, players will be rewarded with 50 medals and a new Exosuit with a dual-autocannon called EXO-49 Emancipator Exosuit.
Compared to the existing Patriot Exosuit, the new Emancipator Exosuit is more accurate. However, it is weak against heavily armored enemies. With the dual auto-cannons, players will easily take out hordes of enemies, but it gets difficult when it comes to strong enemies like Bile Titan. Nonetheless, it is exciting to see that players will finally get a new Exosuit since the game is slowly becoming repetitive and boring.
