In May, actor Pedro Pascal appeared on The Hollywood Reporter’s Actor Roundtable with fellow actors Kieran Culkin, Jeff Bridges, Michael Imperioli, Evan Peters, and Damson Idris. During the candid conversation, Pascal recalled his crazy fan interactions,

“I remember, earlier on, because of Game of Thrones and the way my character died, people were super into taking selfies with their thumbs in my eyes. At first, I was so earnest and happy about the success of the character in the show, and I’d let them! In New York, of all places! and then I remember getting a bit of an eye infection.”

In the show, Gregor “The Moutain” Clegane crushes Pascal’s character, Oberyn Martell’s skull by pushing both his thumbs into his eye sockets. Using his success from Game of Thrones, Pascal went on to showcase his talent in many hits like, Narcos, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, and Wonder Woman 1984.
