What Will Happen to Jason Momoa’s Aquaman

As the announcements of the next Aquaman movie titled Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom have already been made, it looks like it will be the very last time fans will see Momoa reprising his superhero character. Even though the first installment of Aquaman released in 2018 was a success, it seems like new co-CEO James Gunn has decided to end the movies of Aquaman altogether with its second and last installment expected to release in 2023.

Jason Momoa to Get Recast as Lobo

Reportedly the makers have decided to recast the See star as a new character, who will be playing a major antagonist named Lobo. Lobo is the anti-hero in the DCU who is an alien from the utopian planet and can be seen in comics, clashing with Superman. Though Gunn in a statement made it clear that nothing has been decided yet. The very decision of Momoa’s recast as a new character can seem to change the entire dynamics of the future of DCU.
