Venom: The Last Dance has finally released its first trailer which dives into Eddie Brock/ Venom’s journey as it comes to an end. Given that we are aware of the violent nature of symbiotes, many found it quite surprising when the trailer portrayed it otherwise in one particular sequence by taking the movie title way too literally.

First Venom: The Last Dance Trailer Released

The first trailer video of Venom: The Last Dance has finally been released which follows Tom Hardy‘s Eddie Brock and his symbiote, who seems to be getting along well as they try to communicate together by stating, “We are Venom.”

While things seem good at first, the trailer suddenly takes a different turn as problems slowly start to emerge in the sequences, as the symbiote confirms that the duo has been spotted from “own kind.”

Trouble eventually knocks from outer space, which appears to be the most formidable danger that they have encountered yet. It looks like their survival is in serious doubt which is well-reflected by the end of the trailer.

However, the threequel also features some light moments apart from the action-packed scenes that will keep you from getting away from the screen. One particular scene features a familiar face from the Venom franchise – Mrs. Chen! She is a friend of Brock who owns a convenience store in the Chinatown District of San Francisco.

Chen is among those whom the anti-hero saved, forming an unlikely bond with the symbiote and helping the duo when needed. After Eddie and Venom embraced their roles as vigilantes, she readily supported the duo, becoming an integral part of their team. In the trailer, a scene unfolds where she is seen dancing alongside Venom, sparking a rather unexpected take on the trailer.

Who would’ve expected the symbiote to be tapping his feet on the beats of music? No one but Sony as the new trailer has showcased him dancing alongside Mrs. Chen (Peggy Lu) in a short snippet that has become a hot topic among fans online.

The Hollywood Handle shared an image of the particular dance moment on their X account, with fans commenting that the symbiote took his last movie’s title way too seriously.

It looks like the movie knew what could make fans talk about it, at least in a specific way. Fans have high expectations with the threequel which will follow the duo’s story from Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage. They also made an appearance in one of the post-credit scenes of the famous MCU movie, Spider-Man: No Way Home, which seems to be referenced in the new trailer as well.

Kelly Marcel, who was associated with the first two Venom movies, makes her directorial debut with the threequel. Whereas, the titular actor has contributed in penning the script and co-produced the movie alongside Marcel.

Venom: The Last Dance will be released in theaters on October 25.
