Actress Jada Pinkett Smith is in the headlines again for another revelation mentioned in her memoir Worthy. The Red Table Talk host’s personal life has been in the public eye ever since her ‘entanglement’ issues with her husband Will Smith.
Pinkett Smith has spoken about many events of her life in the memoir. However, a shocking detail that she has revealed in the book is her phase of exploring her sexuality, where she mentions that she has had sexual experiences with women.

Jada Pinkett Smith Admits To Having Sexual Experiences With Women
Many bombshells were dropped in actress Jada Pinkett Smith’s latest memoir Worthy. From the aftermath of the infamous Oscar slap to her early life as a drug dealer in high school, more details regarding her wild personal life were revealed in the book.
Among those was Pinkett Smith’s revelation that she had a phase where she explored her sexuality and slept with women. While addressing rumors about her sexuality, she wrote in the book,
“Now, there have always been rumors that I’m gay — that I like women. Maybe that had something to do with the clubs where I hung out, like the Catch, one of the leading LGBTQ+ spots in L.A…The truth is that during those early years of exploration in Hollywood, I had a few sexual experiences with women.”
While the actress did have these experiences, she also mentioned that she prefers men when it comes to s*x. She also stressed the importance of having such experiences in order to discover herself,
“Still, I cherish the beauty of women inside and out. And I have never stopped being infatuated and in awe of women of all ages, sizes, and colors. My belief is — women are the most amazing creatures on the planet, and I hold reverence for women through my friendships…Every woman should have the right and the freedom to explore and embrace her sexuality unapologetically by her own definition.”
This segment of her memoir only adds to the other dramatic revelations that the Matrix star has made in her book.
Bombshells Dropped By Jada Pinkett Smith In Her Memoir
Actress Jada Pinkett Smith has never shied away from revealing stark details about her personal life to the public. Her talk show Red Table Talk, which she hosts along with her daughter Willow Smith and mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris is based around having deeply personal conversations.
Pinkett Smith’s memoir was no less as she elaborated more on her personal life, such as her reported open relationship with her husband Will Smith, the aftermath of Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars, and her life as a cocaine dealer in Baltimore. The actress revealed that she decided to sell drugs at a young age to have financial freedom as her mother was an addict and she was not sure whether she would be able to depend on her.
Pinkett Smith also revealed that she and Will Smith have been living separately since 2016 and clarified the terms of their open relationship. She explained the situation to People Magazine,
“We eliminated the chance of betrayal. It’s like, ‘Let’s talk about it. Let’s work through it together. Let’s be in partnership. Let’s not keep each other in the dark’…We’ve been doing some really heavy-duty work together. We just got deep love for each other, and we are going to figure out what that looks like for us.”
The actress also revealed that stand-up comic Chris Rock had asked her out in 2016 after hearing rumors about the couple’s alleged divorce.
