Simu Liu is known for his role as the titular character in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The actor has been an active advocate against Asian hate and will stand against racism no matter what. He does not hesitate to speak up against something wrong that he sees and quickly became an icon and a beacon of hope for Asian Americans.
During an NBA match, the jumbotron featured an All-Star Celebrity Game which would spot a celebrity lookalike in the crowd. While this is often taken as a fun game during a heated match, this particular incident only backfired for Utah and the game itself. Liu spoke up about it and very casually hinted at how wrong it was.
