Ryan Gosling’s History With Sandra Bullock And Rachel McAdams

Ryan Gosling dated Sandra Bullock after their first encounter on the sets of Murders by Numbers. At the time Bullock was 37 whereas Gosling was only 21 years old. The two stars didn’t let the age difference hinder their interest in each other though. The Bird Box star denied the news that they were “just friends” and shared the crucial life lesson she learned from the Drive star.

“If you were to add the word ‘just,’ it would probably be a bit of a lie. So, I’d say we’re friends. To chill. I live my life at a manic pace, and he’s taught me to disregard all that isn’t important.”

Ryan Gosling too opened up in an interview and blamed the celebrity life and glamor for his breakup with Bullock.

“Show business is the bad guy. When both people are in show business, it’s too much show business. It takes all of the light, so nothing else can grow.”

The 2004 romantic movie The Notebook starred both Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams. The on-screen couple soon became an off-screen couple and started dating each other. Gosling revealed without taking the name of McAdams that he was in a serious relationship at that time, and was genuinely committed to it.

“I’m giving as much to it as a marriage. I’d like to be making babies but I’m not, so I’m making movies. When someone comes along I don’t think I’ll be able to do both and I’m fine with that. I’ll make movies until I make babies. I have no idea when the handover will happen.”
