Tim Daly and George Newbern are some of the actors who have voiced both Superman and Bizarro. When Daly was asked about his experience working with both the characters with contrasting yet compelling dynamics, he said, “I really liked doing Bizarro.”

The Madam Secretary actor shared that he enjoyed delving into the darker aspects of humanity through the character. And despite Bizarro being a villain, Daly empathized with him, arguing that he was not inherently evil. He told ComicBookMovie

“I had a great deal of empathy for him because he is sort of misguided, misunderstood, and used. He wasn’t innately evil I don’t think. He was just manipulated in a way that made him seem so.”

“Yes, we did,” he said, before further stating that he really enjoyed working with the late actor. “It was really fun,” he told CinemaBlend during the interview. The Outsider actor also recounted the enjoyable dynamic between Superman and Batman, saying,

“I sort of loved that Superman, in a very dry way, kind of gave Batman a lot of shit. It was really funny to me. It was like, ‘Dude, lighten up.’ I can’t remember the line exactly, but he busted Batman on that very thing, his darkness and demeanor about everything.”

While Daly’s Superman and Conroy’s Batman initially clashed due to their contrasting personalities, they eventually resolved their differences and joined forces to confront their enemy with their formidable teamwork. The DC superheroes have frequently partnered up in the DC Animated Universe.
