The much-anticipated DC film The Flash is here and it finally sets things straight for the rather shaky timeline of stories. The film has rebooted the franchise and we are now entering into James Gunn’s and Peter Safran’s DC universe, which officially starts with Superman: Legacy. Ezra Miller has been a very passionate advocate for the character and has been hanging to the role since 2014, imagine that!

Despite the finesse with which the IT director Andy Muschietti handled the project, he can’t seem to run from the controversies that Ezra Miller carries with them. Pun, anyone?

Apart from the lackluster performance of the film at the box office, fans are also quite unsatisfied with how unfinished the film looked in terms of visuals and story.

Miller has been trying their level best to put their personal life, mental health issues, and controversies behind them, and Muschietti has also been vocal about his support for them.

Their Instagram post said-

“I’m encouraged by today’s outcome. Protective orders are meant to provide safety for individuals, families, and children who are in danger. They are not meant to be used as weapons. I have been unjustly and directly targeted by an individual who the facts have shown has a history of such manipulation and destructive actions. I implore those members of the media to hold themselves to a higher standard and take time to find the facts, rather than chasing clicks.”

They had been arrested plenty of times before and a protective order had also been issued against them for grooming an 18-year-old nonbinary activist Gibson (formerly Tokata) Iron Eyes since they were 12. Shannon Guin, who is the mother of the activist, had been worried about Miller’s involvement with her child and how they had been extremely ‘controlling’ and displaying ‘cult-like’ behavior.
