While the fans wait for the next chapter of the series, Shonen Jump’s YouTube Channel recently released a mysterious video regarding Jujutsu Kaisen, the title of which translates to “[Jujutsu Kaisen] – Solitary, Reimagined, Fusion – [Volume 26 release commemorative project]”. Fans believed that the video was a tribute to the iconic character Gojo Satoru.

When the mysterious video went live, it turned out to be the official countdown video of Volume 26 of Jujutsu Kaisen, which is deemed one of the best volumes of the series by many. However, this revelation was not liked by fans and they shared their disappointment regarding the video on X (Formerly Twitter).

Shonen Jump Releases A Pre-Launch Video For Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 26

Volume 26 of Jujutsu Kaisen contains the most spectacular combat in the entire series. It shows the great battle between Sukuna and Gojo. It will be released on April 4, 2024, and will feature Chapters 228 through 236. These chapters detail the important fight sequences from the clash of the Most powerful, including Gojo’s tragic demise. 

As Volume 26 is set to be released on Thursday, April 4, 2024, a day before that, Shonen Jump’s official YouTube channel premiered a promotional video for the upcoming manga volume. Initially, the video thumbnail only featured a lotus, indicating a connection to Gojo Satoru, as Gege Akutami did in Chapter 236 of Jujutsu Kaisen which featured Gojo’s memory after his death.

As the video went live, it was revealed that the video was 11 hours long and it is only a pre-launch video for volume 26 as it featured the events from the Jujutsu Kaisen series. It majorly focused on the characters who had a lot of importance in Gojo Satoru’s life.

Fans Enrage Over Underwhelming Revelation of Jujutsu Kaisen’s Mysterious Video

Jujutsu Kaisen and Gojo Satoru fans have been hoping for the return or the rebirth of the character for a long time. Although the series gave no hope for his return, fans still believed that the strongest sorcerer in Jujutsu Kaisen could make a comeback somehow.

The mysterious video shared by Shonen Jump’s official YouTube channel increased hopes even more.
