Out of all of Ben Affleck’s on-screen portrayals to date, that of Batman in Zack Snyder’s SnyderVerse is still one of the most widely applauded of all time. Though he wasn’t welcomed too heartily at first, he still managed to give a credible performance starring as the Caped Crusader. But it seems that while the audience had an amazing experience watching him on the big screens, Affleck, on the other hand, didn’t, considering how quickly he put off his cape.

While Ben Affleck performed insanely fine in every single one of his Batflecks, his favorite Batman scene choice is a rather unpredictable one. This comes after his interview with Herald Sun, where he admitted that his most beloved moments of the Caped Crusader are actually from The Flash (2023).

Shocking Zack Snyder’s die-hard fans, here’s what he said:

“I have never said this — this is hot off the presses — but maybe my favorite scenes in terms of Batman and the interpretation of Batman that I have done were in the Flash movie.”

Continuing, the Good Will Hunting star elaborated on his comment, saying:

“I hope they maintain the integrity of what we did because I thought it was great and really interesting — different, but not in a way that is incongruent with the character. Who knows? Maybe they will decide that it doesn’t work, but when I went and did it, it was really fun and really, really satisfying and encouraging and I thought, ‘Wow — I think I have finally figured it out.’”

However, while his Bruce Wayne scenes from The Flash are his most remarkable scenes while playing Batman in DCU, Ben Affleck didn’t quite enjoy filming Zack Snyder‘s Justice League for some reasons all too genuine.

SnyderVerse’s Justice League Experience Wasn’t Too Pleasant For Ben Affleck

In another interview with the Los Angeles Times, Ben Affleck talked details about his not-so-pleasant experience while shooting for SnyderVerse’s Justice League, explaining that that was also when his priorities changed.

“It was really ‘Justice League’ that was the nadir for me. That was a bad experience because of a confluence of things: my own life, my divorce, being away too much, the competing agendas, and then [director] Zack [Snyder]’s personal tragedy [Snyder’s daughter Autumn died by suicide in 2017] and the reshooting. It just was the worst experience. It was awful. It was everything that I didn’t like about this. That became the moment where I said, ‘I’m not doing this anymore.’”

But it wasn’t really the movie that was unpleasant to him.

“It’s not even about, like, ‘Justice League’ was so bad. Because it could have been anything.”

Although his choices are a bit surprising indeed, nonetheless, Ben Affleck‘s Batman is indeed one on-screen Bruce Wayne performance that will forever be remembered as a rather legendary one.
