Lynch did not take long to become one of WWE’s most recognized and highest-paid wrestlers. She is married to famous professional wrestler Seth Rollins but in her newly-released memoir, she revealed how they almost did not make it as a couple.

Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins Almost Did Not Date

Colby Lopez, widely known by his ring name Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins, signed up with WWE three years before his present wife. He is a five-time world champion in WWE and currently holds the title of the World Heavyweight Champion.

Lynch went on a six-year hiatus from the wrestling world in 2006 after suffering from a severe head injury. Soon after returning, she signed up with WWE but did not become a part of the main roster until 2015. Her career reached great heights in 2018 when she brought forth her more aggressive side by attacking her friend Charlotte Flair after losing to her in a SummerSlam match for the ‘Smackdown’ Women’s Championship.

2019 was a crucial year for the wrestler. It was also the year she met Rollins and their relationship became complicated because they had developed feelings for each other. However, neither of them wanted to date at the time.

In her memoir, Becky LynchThe Man: Not Your Average Average Girl, she revealed how she ended things and told Rollins they should be friends (via Sportskeeda).

“‘Well, I just had an epiphany. We can’t do this anymore! We just have to be friends!'”

While the five-time WWE world champion was upset, he obliged her requests. However, it did not work that way too long and they got back together as a couple soon.

A Look into Becky Lynch’s Relationship with Seth Rollins

Rollins and Lynch went public about their relationship in May 2019 when the former posted a picture of the two of them on Instagram. They got engaged in August of the same year as announced by The Man through an Instagram post.

In May 2020, the wrestling star revealed she was pregnant on Raw. Later that month, she posted a slideshow of pictures in which she is seen bonding with Rollins on various outings (via Instagram). The slideshow ended with a picture of an ultrasound featuring their yet-to-be-born baby. They welcomed their baby girl, Roux in December 2020 (via Instagram).

Rollins and Lynch tied the knot in June 2021, almost six months after welcoming their first child (via PEOPLE). The WWE stars continue to be one of the most popular couples in pro wrestling. The Man and Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins will be seen in WrestleMania 40.
