From Henry Cavill to Daniel Craig, it is not uncommon to find stars of Hollywood turn out to be extreme geeks when it comes to gaming. Many of them have stated how it helps them to wind down and relax after a long day of shooting for a film, and it is probably the closest we will ever get to relating with these superstars in real life.
One such rising star, Elizabeth Yu, who stars in the recent Avatar: The Last Airbender live-action series, has revealed to fans how she has recently got into the hobby of gaming, courtesy of IGN on YouTube. She engaged in a conversation talking about what video game titles she has played and is currently playing, and her answers filled the community with joy.
Elizabeth Yu Reveals Her First-Ever Video Game Titles In An Interview
In the aforementioned interview, she revealed how she started her gaming journey by playing Hogwarts Legacy. She further disclosed how she is a huge Harry Potter fan, making her a Potterhead, and chose Gryffindor when it came to choosing her favorite house.
While nearly every geek head would be smiling from chin to chin already, Elizabeth Yu further unveiled how she has started playing the Borderland series and is about to finish up with it. It feels like an absolute joy seeing celebrities like herself trying out gaming as a hobby, and further falling in love with it.
Many of the fans online have shown appreciation and further encouragement for her to continue gaming as a hobby. She was also hyped up for her surprisingly good choice of which video game to begin with. Unfortunately, some of the other cast members might not have been as equally lucky.
Avatar: The Last Airbender Cast Member Tells Fans About His Valorant Addiction
In what seems to be the same conversation being joined by Dallas Liu, the actor for Zuko in Avatar: The Last Airbender live-action series, it was revealed in another IGN Short how he liked playing the famous first-person shooter video game Valorant by Riot Games.
Liu revealed how he was addicted to Valorant at one point, much to the likeliness of the game’s player base. Furthermore, he mentioned how he realized this obsession and recognized the need to leave the game for good and to touch grass for once. The host of the interview even joked about how the need to leave the game might have been because he has a duty to run the Fire Nation.
It is quite amazing to witness whenever a celebrity reveals how they might be a fan of something such as gaming or anime, and helps them build a more loyal fan base by showing a more human side of themselves.
Avatar: The Last Airbender Series is available to Stream on Netflix.
