Hollywood actors Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx are good friends. The White House Down co-stars are even musical collaborators. Once Tatum said publicly that his friend’s (Jamie Foxx) musical talent is intimidating.

No doubt, Foxx has produced songs like The City’s Yours, Hot Wings, Blame It, DJ Play a Love Song, Just Like Me, and more, which makes him a great musician. However, there’s one song of his that doesn’t make any sense but can be stuck into one’s head forever.

It features Tatum, but the actor doesn’t like to sing the song in public because of a very generous reason.

In 2013, Channing Tatum took a lie detector test with Vanity Fair. He was asked if he wished more s*x acts were named after him in I Want a Channing All Over Your Tatum. The actor then went on saying:

“Sex, yeah! I guess, why not? Just not the worst thing to be known for.”

Tatum realized that he had lied when the lie detector caught him. Over this, he said:

“I lied, okay. I guess it was a little weird. You know what it probably was? It was you know, it’s a really good song. And it’s really hard to get out of your head.”

He then continued:

“And I couldn’t sing it anywhere because, everybody would just be like, this guy’s, like, really into himself. He just keeps singing about himself. So, maybe that’s what it was.”

It’s evident that the song was totally based on Channing Tatum, and he doesn’t want to seem narcissistic by singing it publicly.

After a joke by Jimmy Kimmel at the 2013 Academy Awards, the TV show host invited the duo Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx to ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night special.

He not only invited them to promote their film White House Down but also to make music about the joke called “(I Wanna) Channing All Over Your Tatum,” which makes fun of Tatum’s name.

Along with Tatum and Foxx, the music video also includes Kimmel (himself), Miley Cyrus, Gabourey Sibide, Olivia Munn, and a special cameo by Matt Damon.

The song lyrics goes like this:

“When ya splashing in the water and you think you might drown, Channing tosses you his noodle and he calms your ass down. … He just Channing’d all over your Tatum.”

Kimmel also sings during the video, and Tatum raps, explaining the song.
