Why is Sasha Calle’s Kara in Prison in The Flash Trailer?

The recent release of The Flash trailer has excited several, including the young actress who will be bringing Supergirl onto the big screen. Though the movie centers around Ezra Miller’s character, still Calle has gained lots of praise and attention for depicting Supergirl. Though that’s not all, as the trailer shows Calle’s Supergirl in action, at the same time revealing that she was held captive in something which appears like a prison.

It looks like Calle’s character, Kara Zor-El aka Supergirl is constrained and is freed by Batman and Flash. Calle most probably decided to help Miller’s character to solve the time travel journey. Kara Zor-El aka Supergirl comes from the planet of Krypton just like Superman and possesses similar attributes like superhuman strength and special abilities. It looks like the upcoming movie may set the precursor for the Supergirl solo movie, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.
