In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, The Ocean’s 8 actress said a lot of interesting things about her upcoming movie, and early on in the interview, she stated how she is not the beauty that most people call her.

“I never was the most attractive in the first place. You can always make somebody look at it. But I’d always done roles that were, you know, it was never the beauty queen before. I said this is sorta nice because it takes a person from one end to the other end.”

Sandra Bullock continued, that her roles only “shows a side to women and men” which creates a difference in opinion.

“And, it just shows a side to women and men. You know, it shows the men what women really go through, and it shows women what they really don’t have to go through. You don’t really need to pluck that much do we? It’s an anti-plucking film.”

After discussing her looks, the Speed actress shared her experience with making Miss Congeniality, and to everyone’s surprise, she stated that she learned a trick or two that are used to make people look perfect.

“I’ve learned a lot about the tricks. You look at people and you go, ‘How is it that they manage to look like this?’ or ‘[Their] waist looks so tiny’—you can build a body. You can really build a body.”

“That was a huge bone of contention for me. I was trying to get it written out so many times. It’s in the script. We already shot it—outside in San Antonio.”

As the fans of the movie know, Sandra Bullock appeared in a swimsuit in the film. While the actress was not too proud of the scene, the movie became a Box Office success, earning $212.7 million while having a budget of only $45 million, and the movie’s success helped it in making a sequel.

However, the film failed to repeat the same success as the original film. And during an interview with Metro, The Proposal actress stated that the film should have never received a sequel. But she did express her opinion of continuing the franchise differently.

“God no! No, no. Two shouldn’t have been done but I’m glad that it did because of Regina, who I just freaking adore. That one should have remained a one-off. Unless they make a prequel with the young Gracie Hart, with the mustache and the monobrow. Gracie Hart in her 10, 11-year-old life, still acting very much the same as Gracie Hart as an adult would be cute.”

While Bullock is not too fond of the sequel, the success of the first film immensely helped her in becoming one of the most influential actresses in the industry. She played her role of Gracie Hart flawlessly which earned her praise from the critics as well the fans.
