Amber Heard’s rumored close friend Brie Larson was asked about Johnny Depp, at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, where both Depp and Larson made an appearance. As Heard lost the trial against the 59-year-old actor, and Depp was promoting his comeback drama, Jeanne du Barry, a reporter asked Larson about Depp. The 33-year-old actress was a jury member at this year’s Cannes Festival. During a press conference, a journalist wanted to know Larson’s thoughts about Depp. When the reporter asked her about Depp’s presence at the Cannes Film Festival, the actress responded by saying,

“You’re asking me that? I’m sorry, I don’t understand the correlation of why me specifically.”

She was also asked if she will watch Depp’s upcoming French Drama Jeanne du Barry, to which she replied by saying, “I’ll see it when I see it. I don’t know how I feel about it, frankly.” Reportedly the question was specifically asked Larson because there are rumors she Heard’s close friend.
