The All-Star game of 2018 started off on a good note until ESPN managed to turn the situation into an uncomfortable fiasco after asking Jamie Foxx a question about his relationship with Katie Holmes. The A-list Hollywood celebrities are known for keeping their relationship extremely private during the time that they dated and as such, it was public knowledge that the couple avoided the limelight or any questions directed at the two.
Since then, it has been a long time since the two broke up and went their separate ways. However, as with most celebrity high-profile relationships, the media exposure and constant scrutiny did play a part in the two actors parting ways in the end.

Jamie Foxx Avoids Answering Questions About Katie Holmes
During the run-up to the All-Star Celebrity NBA game in 2018, the SportsCenter interview latched on to The Amazing Spider-Man 2 star, Jamie Foxx, for a quick word about the actor’s preparations for the game. The star appeared in jovial spirits up until the questions suddenly veered away from sports talk to private inquiries about how the actor spent Valentine’s Day with then partner, Katie Holmes.
As the interviewer goes on to ask, “I know you prepared, I saw pictures, did you and Katie Holmes play basketball for Valentine’s Day, like some fun-loving basketball?”, Jamie Foxx, with a staple smile on his face, immediately gets up taking his headset off, and walking off into the court. The interviewer then manages to get a grip on the situation with a, “Uh oh, he’s ready to go!” but the moment did make a few headlines the following week when the courtside clip went viral.
The Infamous Jamie Foxx & Katie Holmes Relationship
Katie Holmes has been at the centerfold of the public eye ever since her marriage to Mission: Impossible star, Tom Cruise. The pair’s marriage had often been the subject of speculations that claimed that the relationship was a PR stunt, an accusation that followed the actress into her relationship with Jamie Foxx in the later years as well. Although the couple was rarely seen in public, reports soon circulated that the choice of privacy is more of a Jamie Foxx thing rather than a wish on Katie Holmes’ part.

Those speculations further proved to hold water when the two separated and Holmes went on to date Emilio Vitolo. Insider sources told Us Magazine, “[Katie Holmes] is happy she can be free and comfortable with her relationship with Emilio and doesn’t need for it to be private, like her past relationship with Jamie Foxx was.” The couple — Holmes and Vitolo — have separated in early 2021 and the actress still maintains an amicable friendship with Jamie Foxx.
