American social media influencer and YouTuber; Logan Paul is also a professional wrestler who is competing on SmackDown and is the reigning WWE United States Champion. Paul made his professional wrestling debut as The Miz’s tag team partner at WrestleMania 38 in 2022 and the wrestler was praised for his performance.
Logan Paul in 2022 challenged Roma Reigns during an episode of SmackDown and the two of them faced each other at Crown Jewel. Despite being unsuccessful in defeating Reigns, Paul’s wrestling skills were lauded by the critics.
The YouTube has found himself amid a lot of controversies over the years and one of those was when he went to Aokigahara Forest in 2017, which is a suicide forest, in Japan and it fractured his good rapport with Dwayne Johnson. In his recent episode of Impaulsive, Logan Paul who is the current WWE United States Champion looked back upon his now fractured relationship with Dwayne Johnson a.k.a., The Rock. He shared with John Cena;
“DJ was one of the people I hurt via the Japan video because of his mother’s experience. That’s his experience to tell and I’m not going to share. But like, I hurt him. So much so that he basically wanted nothing to do with me, and rightfully so I let down my hero. And he requested that I remove all the content that we’ve ever done together and basically kicked me to the curb.”
Paul admitted that he would have done the same thing if he was in place of Johnson adding that he remembers being in such a low moment because he knew he left himself, his fans, his family, and his idol down too. Paul noted that letting his idol down stung him so bad and it wasn’t like he got the call from him but it was from his publicist.
Logan Paul continued that he is always going to remember that mentioning that he told himself that one day if he ever becomes as great as Dwayne Johnson, he would remember that he was discarded. He added that he doesn’t think he can ever let that go adding that he has a lot of stuff to work through and he sees him come back to WWE and he understands that he is going to cross paths with him and cannot comprehend how he would handle that.

Ahead of the WrestleMania XL, it has been revealed that WWE United States Champion, Logan Paul will be facing The Miz in a qualifying match next week for Men’s Elimination Chamber. During a recent episode of WWE SmackDown, Paul arrived wearing the Apple Vision Pro headset and stated that a TKO board member had assaulted an employee. Paul’s comments were a nod to The Rock slapping Cody Rhodes at the kick-off press conference.
Paul was later confronted by SmackDown GM Nick Aldis telling him that he did not need a challenger for the qualifying match but for his U.S. title. He noted that the qualifying matches are for unqualified people, which according to him he is not. He said in a video that has gone viral,
“I should be getting The Rock treatment. Walk in here, do what I want. Smack somebody across the face, back on the jet.”
He also shared that he was re-watching the slap incident on his Apple Vision Pro stating that the press conference was crazy. The wrestler has however agreed to face The Miz for the qualifying match noting that he will win, win inside the Elimination Chamber beat Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Champion.
Triple H confirmed on his official X account that it is Cody Rhodes who is going to go up against Roman Reigns as the headline event of WrestleMania 40 putting all the rumors of Dwayne Johnson being the headline to rest.
