Tom Holland, popularly known for his role as Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, continues to win the audience’s hearts, onscreen with his acting and off-screen with his knack for innocence and humor. Holland can be seen celebrating his friendship with his co-star Zendaya who portrays the role of MJ in the MCU. During the promotions of Spider-Man: Far From Home, Holland shared that he has been ghosted by Euphoria star.
Tom Holland on Being Ghosted by Zendaya
In an interview, while promoting Spider-Man: Far From Home, Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon sat in front of an 8-year-old fan who interviewed the stars. On being asked if the Spider-Man who can be seen ghosting people in movies, to keep up with his part-time superhero job, has been recently ghosted by someone in real life. Holland had a pretty shocking answer to this question which took everyone by surprise, especially Zendaya.
Tom Holland revealed that Zendaya didn’t reply to his text message before coming for the same interview shoot. Euphoria star shared a meme with Cherry star, but it looked like Holland had a hard time understanding it. Holland replied with three question marks but replies to those question marks never appeared.
“I have been ghosted today by an actress called Zendaya. She sent me a picture of a calculator, it was a meme. And I didn’t understand and I sent three question marks and you didn’t reply. I have seen you on your phone since…Well, I still would have appreciated the text message. It is (ghosting), she read the message.”

Zendaya’s Bitter-Sweet Relationship with Tom Holland
Of course, fan-favorite MJ would never ghost Peter Parker intentionally. Zendaya went ahead to make her stance clear that she was busy with the hair and makeup. Also, she was going to see Holland in a while in the interview, that’s why she didn’t bother to text back.
“ Oh you know it was a meme, Yeah!.. Because I was in hair and makeup and I was going to see you right now. That’s not ghosting, right? You are gonna see someone that day. Ghosting is completely different.”
Though this bitter-sweet relationship between the world’s leading superstars was loved by the fans. The instance is evident to reveal the strong bonding that both the stars share off-screen. It was neither the first nor the last time either of them was seen pulling each other’s leg in public. With news of Spider-Man 4 continuing to surface, fans are eagerly waiting to see the duo once again on screen.
