God of War live-action television series was announced back in 2022 for Prime Video, and the show has been in the making for over a year but there hasn’t been any other news. Fans have been wondering about the cast and have shared their favorites for Kratos, who they consider are the right contenders for the role, such as Dave Bautista being the favorite pick.
These big names are no doubt perfectly capable of playing Kratos, Christopher Judge also put up his name to play the protagonist. Judge gave his voice to Kratos in the last two games. While fans were busy deciding on Kratos’s role, another God of War voice actor expressed his desire to be cast in the live-action series and it is pretty intriguing.

God of War Voice Actor Wants to Star in the Live-Action Series
Sunny Suljic, the actor who voiced and motion-captured Atreus, the son of Kratos has tossed his hat in the ring and expressed his willingness to be cast in the upcoming live-action show. The actor took to X, formerly Twitter, and said that he’d like to be in the God of War while sharing IGN’s post that stated Prime Video has ordered a God of War TV series. He said,
“I swear to god, If I don’t get booked for this.”

The actor further added,
“Unless I’m too old now I guess?”
Although the voice actor also shared his worry that he might be a little too old to play the character, he would be an ideal choice for his fantastic portrayal of the intelligent and curious son of Kratos. The show is rumored to start straight at the Norse saga that came with the reboot of the series in 2018. Freya actress Danielle Bisutti also replied to Sunny Suljic’s post and said that she feels the same.

Many fans agreed with the actor and said that he has to be in the show saying that it has to be him and there can not be anyone better than him and others said that he is the only pick and he and Judge would nail the roles in the series.

Another fan joked that Suljic would have to cut the hair and one user added that he was too old now to play his young self. One fan added that if the makers do not go with Christopher Judge and Suljic they would be making a huge mistake. There hasn’t been an announcement about the cast of the God of War live-action series yet and whenever it happens, it is bound to make headlines.
