After the release of Netflix’s One Piece, fans are falling in love with it more and more. The series has brought even greater fame to the main manga and anime.
Even the cast of the One Piece live adaptation has praised Eiichiro Oda’s manga and anime. Actors like Emily Rudd (who portrayed Nami) and Inaki Godoy (who portrayed Luffy) are already big fans of anime.
But did you know that the actor who played Luffy has his own favorite arc from Eiichiro Oda’s manga? No, it’s not the new Wano Arc or the Alabasta Arc (which is considered the most beloved arc by fans).
Inaki Godoy Enjoys This One Piece Arc Thanks to Luffy’s Curly Hair
While talking to GamesRadar, the actor Iñaki Godoy, who plays Monkey D. Luffy, has revealed his favorite arc from the famous manga One Piece and expressed his excitement about adapting it.
During the interview, when Godoy was asked about his favorite arc, he replied:
“Oh, man. So far, I really love Enies Lobby. I think that was my favorite arc. But! But, but, but, I will say this. I think the Foxy arc… I think the Foxy arc, I think it has something special too. Iunno. I really liked the afro Luffy. I think that was really nice, but Enies Lobby is the best one for me. I really love that one, but hey, I love Foxy. I don’t know, I think it’s just a funny villain. I don’t know… his weird nose and like his power? Man, I think he’s a funny guy. I think it’s a funny arc.”
Godoy mentioned that he has a strong fondness for the Enies Lobby arc, considering it his favorite. However, he also expressed a particular liking for the Foxy arc, finding it special. He especially enjoyed the appearance of Afro Luffy in that arc.
While Enies Lobby remains his top choice, he appreciates the humor and uniqueness of the Foxy arc, finding Foxy himself to be a funny and entertaining villain.

Iñaki Godoy’s Favorite Straw Hats Pirate is Not Luffy
During the same interview, Godoy also shared his favorite member of the Straw Hat Crew:
“Oh, man. It’s gotta be God D. Usopp, man. It’s gotta be God D. Usopp. Oh yes; oh yeah.” He said. “Sniper King, army of more than 10,000 men. You know, he is the GOAT. He’s the GOAT. Easy question, man. Easy question. I thought you were gonna make something difficult? Easy.”
In the interview, Godoy humorously declared that, in his opinion, the most powerful member of the Straw Hat Crew is God D. Usopp. He referred to Usopp as the GOAT (Greatest of All Time) and emphasized his abilities, mentioning the title “Sniper King” and an “army of more than 10,000 men,” indicating his admiration for Usopp’s character.
