The world works in mysterious ways, which often brings changes, sometimes very drastic, to our day-to-day lives or our way of thinking entirely. This was the case with Angelina Jolie as for a long time, she did not understand the point for a woman to attain natural pregnancy and didn’t like the idea for herself as well. But when she got the chance to work with Clint Eastwood, a true living legend of the Hollywood industry in his directorial project Changeling, it brought a massive change in her that she didn’t expect.

In the past, while talking about her change of heart about the subject, she also talked about how working on this film with the Million Dollar Baby star was the switch-flipping moment in her life that made her realize something about a natural pregnancy that she couldn’t grasp before. She said that after she started working on this project, she became open to the idea of becoming a natural mother, which led to the birth of her first twins Vivienne and Knox in 2008 with ex-husband Brad Pitt. Sharing this experience, she told First Curiousity:

“I never felt that it was the right thing to do, I got pregnant right in the middle of [shooting ‘Changeling’] and I think partially because of it. I was so emotional about children that I think something in me kicked into gear.”

Therefore, not only did she receive praise for her role in the film, but she also realized the happiness of becoming a mother in the process as well.

Based on the real-life events of the 1928 Wineville Chicken Coop murders in Mira Loma, California, Changeling tells the tale of a single mother named Christine Collins, who one day after returning home, finds her only son named Walter missing. She goes on to the L.A.P.D. to make them issue a search for her son, but due to rampant corruption in the department, they are unable to, which makes them the public enemy.

Then, several months later, the cops call Collins claiming that they have found her missing son, but when she reaches there, she figures out in an instant that the child was not her son, but an imposter planted by the police department.
