Jonathan Nolan Hopes There Not Much Time Gap Between Season 1 and 2 Of Fallout

There is no joy for audiences when there is a very long gap between the seasons of their beloved shows. The longer the gap, the hype decreases, therefore, various shows are trying to avoid that misstep (Invincible got hit pretty hard with a long gap between seasons 1 and 2,  even having a mid-season gap amidst season 2).

In an interview with Collider, executive producer of the Fallout series Jonathan Nolan talked about his frustrations with long gaps between seasons, but understood the reasons behind it (relating to production). If they get to do season 2, he hopes that audiences won’t have to wait very long for it to come out. He said,

“No, I find that gap frustrating, as well. Part of it is just the ambition of these shows, right?. From shows like Game of Thrones and then Westworld, onwards, that practical photography means it takes time. But I am as frustrated as anyone that it takes this long to get these shows on the air. So, we are poised and hopeful that we’re not gonna have to wait quite that long, should we be so lucky.”

The series will definitely get a second season owing to the highly positive reception of the first season. Fallout season 1 currently has a 93% on Rotten Tomatoes, which is proof that audiences want to see more from the show and the characters whom they have formed a connection with.
