O’Shea Jackson Jr. revealed that the meeting was unexpected and he never imagined something like that. He was surprisingly pulled off from school by his father Ice Cube and while he was wondering if he had done something wrong, it was revealed by his father to be a lunch meeting between them and Dwayne Johnson.

During a conversation on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the Den of Thieves star explained the incident. He admitted how he was starstruck when he spotted the Black Adam lead for the first time. O’Shea Jackson Jr., who was 12 back when The Rock was also yet to make a Hollywood debut lost his words and it turned out to be quite an embarrassing situation for him.

“So we go to this restaurant, we sit down [at a] big table. Here comes The Rock, all six foot-four of him, and he sits down, and I can’t say a word. You have to prepare a child for when they’re about to meet their hero. I had nothing lined up! I’m just staring at this man talking to my dad, and my dad’s nudging me like, ‘Say something!’ And I just couldn’t.”

“When he paid for his meal, and the lady came and brought his change, I took a quarter. I took The Rock’s quarter. I have it in a sandwich bag to this day.”

It can be concluded that the Just Mercy actor didn’t have a very bad meeting with Dwayne Johnson after all. The actor was recently seen in the movie Cocaine Bear and is set to appear in another movie alongside Gerard Butler.
