Chris Pratt certainly knows how to hit a lot of funny bones. One of the best comedy actors of his generation, the Parks and Recreation star even managed to carve his own special place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the ever-so-hilarious superhero Star-Lord. His Guardians of the Galaxy series is lauded as much for being filled with laughs as for its action sequences.

Chris Pratt’s Genius Idea Faltered in Front of His Wife

Chris Pratt is married to Katherine Schwarzenegger, the daughter of Hollywood’s action icon, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Katherine is an author, who has written three self-help books. Needless to say, she has a better eye to spot spelling mistakes than most.

Despite knowing Katherine for nearly half a decade and being married to her since 2019, Pratt, for some reason, didn’t think about this before attempting to prank her.

The 44-year-old took to X (formerly Twitter) to reveal to his fans how he got ‘Uno Reversed’ when he tried to make fun of his wife’s penchant for compulsive organization.

“She labels everything,” he said. “As a prank, I decided to “label” her label maker. I waited in the wings for her to notice so I could pounce out like a cat, ‘Ha! Got you!’ She immediately pointed out that I misspelled ‘label maker.’ So there you go. I Uno Reversed myself.”

For this failed prank, Pratt got off lightly. However, one time a prank went so wrong that the Jurassic World star “s***” his pants.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!Pratt revealed that he tried to pull a prank on the cast and crew of the series.

“The last thing we did was me essentially getting buried alive,” said Pratt. “I’m breathing through a straw and they use an excavator to dump another big bucket full of dirt on top of me in the shot and I’m supposed to crawl out.”

Pratt decided to prank everyone on the set by staying still for 30 seconds.

“What I failed to realize after 30 seconds of not moving thinking it would be funny is that I actually couldn’t move,” he added. “I could only move my right hand. Took a minute and a half and I finally get out and I cough up dirt. People come up to me, and go, ‘Dude, that was some of the best acting that I’ve ever seen you do.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, I s*** my pants. That’s how committed I was.’”

Well, at least he managed to deliver a convincing performance. The Terminal List was received well by fans and underlined Pratt’s ability to portray serious characters. He’s currently working on wrapping up Season 2 of the hit action thriller series.
