The entire franchise of Assassin’s Creed started in 2007. This series has been continuing for a long time, and with each title, it has evolved a lot. Having so many Assassin’s Creed titles, it would be fair to say that Ubisoft never dropped a “terrible” Assassin’s Creed game.

Assassin’s Creed is Ubisoft’s flagship series, and it’s undoubtedly packed with incredible games. The Ezio Trilogy is still considered the best among gamers in the community. Assassin’s Creed Black Flag isn’t far behind, as it has gathered a lot of fans, too. However, in a recent Reddit post from the Assassin’s Creed subreddit, users are hailing Revelations as one of the best games in the series.

A Redditor from the official subreddit of Assassin’s Creed laid their opinion out on which game from his series is the best, and it is Assassin’s Creed Revelation. Several gamers agreed with their opinion on this matter and chipped in to share their thoughts.

Diehumancultleader posted on Reddit explaining why Revelation is the “peak” of the series by saying,

“It essentially built upon Brotherhood in every single way, and gave us what I consider to be the best story/atmosphere in the whole series.”

He continued in his post,

“Revelations is not underrated, it gets a fair shake, but I personally consider it the best in all respects. Walking through the gorgeous dense streets of Constantinople as old Ezio as the Ottomans conquer the last of the Roman Empire and the people live on around such a massive event in fascinating audiovisual detail will never get old to me.”

Several fans agreed with his opinion and shared their own thoughts on the game, like the gameplay, storyline, and mechanics. Some of the users went as far as to term the title as a masterpiece.

“I used to DREAD the janissaries. Amazing game, and my second favorite, tied with AC2, with my favorite being ACB.”

“I thought it was an amazing game, with a great setting and a fantastic story and atmosphere.”

Revelation was similar to Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, but the circumstances of the game were different. From the story’s perspective, it’s an appropriate end to Ezio’s story.

Assassin’s Creed Revelations traces through the stories of Altair Ibn-La-Ahad and Ezio Auditore. Despite some unnecessary elements in the game, it was rather exciting and thrilling. Revelation was packed with fascinating adventures, from hanging out with Leonardo Da Vinci to sliding down ziplines in Constantinople. The ending of both Ezio and Altair’s story was a representation of what was yet to come and things that occurred in the past. Revelation was a warm farewell to the first era of Assassin’s Creed as both the Assassin grew and learned from lives full of adventure.
