Justin Bieber Challenged Tom Cruise to a One-on-One Fight
The Canadian singer, Justin Bieber, seems not too fond of the action movies star Tom Cruise. In a tweet in 2019, Bieber flat-out challenged Cruise to a fight at Octagon, telling him that if he did not take him up for this, Cruise would never be able to live this down.
“I wanna challenge Tom Cruise to fight in the octagon. Tom if you dont take this fight your scared and you will never live it down. Who is willing to put on the fight?” Bieber twitted.
This tweet ended with the musician tagging Dana White, the head of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), the largest mixed martial arts (MMA) organization in the world. This was also followed by Bieber posting a video of him kicking off a bottle, saying that that would be Cruise’s head.

After this, Dana White, publicly stated that he had been in touch with Tom Cruise. Cruise was willing and ready to fight, but Bieber ended up backing out. This was followed by an apology which was quite odd and the entire situation had everyone scratching their heads.
“I don’t know. I was just being stupid, to be honest. Not stupid, but then people were like, ‘Yeah, I wanna see this happen.’ And I was like, ‘You know what? That could actually be funny.’” He stated but after he was asked whether he would actually win in a fight with Cruise, he said,“I try not to let my ego get in the way, but there’s absolutely no way. He’s not the guy you see in movies. That’s a character. [Being in] phenomenal shape doesn’t mean you’re a good fighter … I’m dangerous. My agility is crazy!”
The singer went on to say that the entire thing was a childish kind of prank, where he wanted to see what would happen. However, when he was asked whether he would win a fight with the actor, he stated that Cruise is not as strong as he is shown in the movies and the singer was confident in his combat abilities.
