Henry Cavill has recently been the talk of many news reports after his blunder with DC. Just after his return as Superman after 5 years with a cameo on Black Adam, new DC head James Gunn removed Zack Snyder’s Justice League from the scenario.

Henry Cavill’s Superman was one of the main roles that revolved around Snyder’s Justice League and thus was also fired from his role. The Bible that Gunn will submit this month lays out DCU’s plans for the coming 3 to 4 years. After Henry Cavill fired his agent Dana Garcia, who is also the ex-wife of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, he shifted his focus to something elsewhere.

Henry Cavill and Dwayne Johnson Have the Same Trainer

It is no secret that Henry Cavill is also a fitness enthusiast, as from his role in Superman one can clearly see that he is super jacked. Both Henry Cavill and The Rock have pretty intense workout sessions. The Man of Steel actor has recently said that he wants to be like Johnson, as he wants to build his body well. He stated, “I want those facilities always available”, by which he meant that he also wants the facilities and equipment for hitting the gym any time he wants, be it 4 in the morning or at midnight, just like Dwayne Johnson.

Recently, it has been made public that Cavill has started his training under the same coach Johnson uses. Henry Cavill in an interview said,

“I have gone through peaks and troughs in my physicality, depending on how hard a job has been, how much physical work I’ve put into it and having to have time off afterward and not having access to the same facilities to train in. One of the big things now is that I’m investing in making sure I have those facilities always available to me”.

Dave Rienzi is a fitness expert who excels in strength and conditioning training and is also the coach who is responsible for Dwayne Johnson’s incredible figure. Though they have completely different body structures, Cavill mainly focuses on his mobility training and strengthening his body posture, and Dwayne Johnson focuses on his body conditioning.

Henry Cavill and Dwayne Johnson’s Post-DC Career

Henry Cavill is not the beacon of hope for DC fans anymore but he is sure to star in the adaptation of Warhammer 40,000, a popular game that is being turned into a series. Cavill struck a deal with Amazon Studios on December 2022 and is very enthusiastic about building a new Warhammer Cinematic Universe.

Amazon Studios has secured the deal with Games Workshop after teaming up with Vertigo Entertainment and will be playing the role of the executive producer as well. Some also say that Cavill’s Warhammer 40,000 will be a competitor to Gunn’s DCEU and Feige’s MCU, as though how much of it is true – only time will tell.

Dwayne Johnson may not be the hope for Kahndaq,  but he surely is bearing gifts this Christmas. Johnson is working on his new movie Red One, starring big actors such as Chris Evans, JK Simmons, and others. The scene sets on two powerful forces meant to be rivals but actually, behind the scenes, working together. The project is also being produced by Amazon Studios.
