In his reflection on his journey, Johnson is candid about the motivation that All Eyez On Me by Shakur gave him to embrace his goal. For the unversed, the late rapper was shot and killed on September 7, 1996.

Even the biggest stars in the world of fame and fortune had humble beginnings. This also applies to well-known actor and former professional wrestler, Dwayne Johnson. Despite how unbelievable it may seem, the actor once navigated the difficult road to success by grappling and wrestling for a meager “$40 bucks per match”.
The actor, 51, recently surprised the Colorado coach, Deion Sanders before the Buffaloes’ game against Colorado State. In doing so, he mentioned the song All Eyes On Me on his Instagram, saying it had a significant impact on his life back when he was first getting into wrestling:
“My walkout ring music when I first started wrestling in Memphis (pre WWE). I may have been broke as hell, only been making $40 bucks per match, but I was a bad MF walking to the ring.”

Unexpectedly, Tupac Shakur and his smash hit All Eyez On Me was responsible for a sizable portion of Johnson’s early cool factor.
Dwayne Johnson: Deion Sanders Is Doing Something ‘Very Special’ At Colorado
Deion Sanders was recently on the verge of tears after Dwayne Johnson‘s appearance at ESPN’s College GameDay. The former was happy to see the actor appear on set, possibly because he knew The Rock would film a promo outlining why he is doing “something special” in the world of college football.
The actor believed:
“What Deion is doing right now — let’s talk about this just for a second, because we are witnessing something that is not only game-changing in the face of college football, but also, something that’s very special.”
Johnson further explained the “special thing” in detail saying:
“And what that special thing is, is passion mixed with love mixed with disruption mixed with swagger mixed with confidence, but also, there’s an undercurrent here that Coach Prime is doing, is he’s changing the face of college football, and he’s doing it his way. But he’s also doing it in a way — and this is the hard part — that is galvanizing not only a town in Boulder, Colorado, but also galvanizing an entire country.”
On the work front, Dwayne Johnson’s next acting project is the upcoming action-adventure Christmas movie Red One, which is helmed by Jake Kasdan. The film also stars Chris Evans.
The movie is set to release by the end of this year.
