The Egghead Island arc will officially be over with One Piece chapter 1124. The arc has been going on for a long time, and several crucial revelations by Eiichiro Oda shook the One Piece fandom. Bartholomew Kuma’s backstory had every grabbing for their tissue, while Vegapunk’s story had everyone hooked to their seats. The Gorosei’s entry sent a shiver down everyone’s spines.
In the end, everything turns out to be better, and the Straw Hats will finally sail toward the next island, Warland Elbaf. Even though after so much happened, the fans found that one Straw Hat should have had the best development in the arc. During the two-year time skip, Franky used Vegapunk’s technologies to become stronger, and Egghead met him face-to-face.
Egghead Island Arc Could Have Showcased Franky More
Franky is the shipwright of the Straw Hat Pirates, who is also a cyborg. Even though he has not yet discovered any form of Haki, he is quite crafty with his body. The shipwright has several powerful weapons hidden inside his body, which often come in handy during battles. He can shoot punches, fire shoots, launch missiles, etc. The best thing is that he can merge with Brachio Tank V and Kurosai FR-UV IV to become General Franky. Transformers fans will greatly enjoy this transformation.
The point is that Franky is all about science and machinery. With the Straw Hats on the epitome of science, the Egghead Island, there was never a better chance for Franky to improve his abilities. Watching the shipwright come out of Egghead with zero developments surprised the fans. Dr. Vegapunk is Albert Einstein of the One Piece world, so he could have had a jolly good time experimenting on Franky. He could also provide some insights to improve his abilities.
While the upcoming chapter will feature the Straw Hats sailing for Elbaf, one of the fans wrote on Reddit, “NGL I was kinda hot that Franky didn’t rly shine during Egghead. During the time skip, he literally rebuilt himself from Vegapunk’s blueprints. I was expecting much more development.” Franky is a massive Vegapunk stan. But learning nothing from him before the upcoming war made the fans disappointed.
Eiichiro Oda Will Soon Begin Working On The Final War
The Egghead Island arc will officially conclude with One Piece chapter 1124. Elbaf will be the next destination for the Straw Hat Pirates. The fans are pretty excited for the Elbaf arc since it will feature the Giants. Eiichiro Oda has revealed multiple secrets in the ongoing arc, so there might be more in store for the fans. Moreover, the Final War in One Piece will take on Elbaf, which is popularly known as ‘Warland.’
Monkey D. Luffy would like to get all the help possible before the Final War. Since the winner of the war could potentially decide who will be the first one to reach Laugh Tale. Blackbeard, Shanks, Imu-sama, etc., will be taking part in the war. It might be one of the reasons why Franky getting an upgrade could have benefitted the Straw Hat Pirates. Nonetheless, they have Lilith with them for granting them the power of science.
