Reflecting on one particular scene, Fishback recounted a close call that left her heart racing. In this sequence, her character ventures into a treacherous cave, and she was determined to make it as authentic as possible. Equipped with a harness and supported by a skilled crew member, Fishback followed director Steven Caple Jr.’s instructions to descend without looking, allowing the camera to capture a more intense close-up before she ventured further into the cave. However, fate had other plans.

In her vivid reenactment, Fishback animatedly described the heart-stopping moment when she missed a step and began to fall backward. Her co-star, Anthony Ramos, immediately rushed to her aid, concerned for her well-being.

“We shot that scene for days! I was getting thrown 30 feet in the air, then I’d land and get thrown again. They had to add extra shooting days because I wanted to do it all myself and not use a double. It was hard, but the truth is, I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Dominique Fishback, who brilliantly portrays anthropologist Elena Wallace, echoed Ramos’ sentiment and shared her own excitement about tackling thrilling stunts.

Like Anthony, I got to do some really cool stunts of my own, like hanging from a bridge by one arm!”, Fishback exclaimed.

“The harnesses you have to wear for the stunts are very uncomfortable, but I’ve always been an athletic person, so I tried to do as much of the action as I could. The whole experience was fun, but a lot of work too.”

Their shared dedication and enthusiasm for performing their own stunts demonstrate their commitment to bringing an authentic and exhilarating experience to Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.
