Although he retired almost a decade ago, Hulk Hogan never received a retirement match, and considering his new partnership with the Carma HoldCo brand, it seems like the wrestling legend will be fit enough for a retirement match soon enough. Hogan was recently announced as the Chief Brand Officer of the brand which specializes in Cannabidiol and functional mushrooms.

The Immortal One talks about why he joined the weed business

In a recent interview with Forbes, Hulk Hogan talked about why he joined the weed business and how he has been suffering a lot over the recent years because of multiple surgeries. He said,

“Basically the last 10 years, I’ve had about 28 surgeries. Between the pain, the inflammation and the doctors always giving me the pain pills after the surgeries, I was miserable. I started winding down, and I got to the point where the only thing I was taking were two Tylenols in the morning, and then two Tylenols in the afternoon with a cup of coffee to kick them in. But even that was too much for me. They affect me differently than most people.”

Hulk Hogan also revealed that he had met up with fellow wrestlers and athletes from the industry like Mike Tyson and Ric Flair and talked about his transition into this field.

“So I had the chance, I met with Mike [Tyson] and Ric Flair, and had the honor of meeting Chad and his whole team, and it just made more sense. The CBD wellness direction, sleep and energy and vitamins and everything that’s involved. It was more of just a natural way for me to back out and get healthy and become myself again”

Hogan went on to mention that he wanted not to be ‘foggy‘ all the time when he was with his family and friends and his prescription pills were definitely throwing him off.

With him finally feeling better, it seems like a retirement match for The Immortal One is definitely on the cards now for the next Wrestlemania. Hulk Hogan has earlier talked about his wish to have one final retirement match before he can finally bid farewell to the ring.
