Angelina Jolie has captivated the hearts of countless fans worldwide throughout her Hollywood career, and it was not a surprise for her fans when the actress was named the sexiest woman in the world. However, the actress is also known for having an intimate personality, which sometimes can contribute to the uneasiness of her co-stars. Something similar happened with the X-Men Origins actor, who starred alongside Jolie in the 2010 mystery action Salt.
Though the actor was initially nervous about being around the Eternals star, things became a bit easier for him as he realized that his co-star was not quite physically perfect and had a flaw.
Angelina Jolie Made Her Salt Co-Star Nervous
Known for starring alongside Hugh Jackman in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Liev Schreiber had the opportunity to share the screen with Angelina Jolie in the 2010 film Salt. However, Schreiber who shared that he often gets uneasy around famous people and beautiful women, was “very nervous in the beginning.”
Talking about his co-star he said, “I hadn’t known her very well, at all.” But he needed to get comfortable with the Oscar-winning actress for their respective roles in the movie. “I felt like the important part of the job for me was to develop familiarity with her because that was the humanizing factor,” he shared during an interview.
And he was able to get comfortable around her as the two started working together. The Butler actor shared that they bonded over kids, as both were parents to two children at the time. “I have 2 small kids and she has 2 small kids,” he shared during an interview.
Talking about kids and knowing the Lara Croft star helped to get rid of Schreiber’s anxiety surrounding her superstar persona. And Schreiber soon noticed something about Jolie that made him realize that the sexiest woman in the world could also have some flaws.
Liev Schreiber Found One Flaw in Angelina Jolie
Although it could be surprising to many, Liev Schreiber finally got comfortable around his Salt co-star after he found a flaw in her that he probably didn’t actively seek. He has shared that he had a sense of unease knowing that Angelina Jolie is considered to have the highest standards of beauty.
However, after he met the actress in person, he noticed that the Maleficent star was not as tall as he expected her to be. “She’s a lot shorter than I thought she would be,” he told the New York Daily News before adding, “but I was pleased by that.”
While it may not come as a flaw to many, Schreiber claimed that he was “happy there was a flaw.” However, he might have felt that he got the upper hand in terms of height as he is taller than Jolie. The Tourist actress is reportedly 5’6½”, while her co-star is 6′ 3″.
