Nevertheless, the California native actor once shared that while filming a fight scene in the movie with her co-star, she forgot that she was acting and inadvertently punched The Hustle movie star in the face. On the Rachael Ray show, Kate Hudson recalled the anecdote saying,

“We were really tired, and I had this big rock on my finger. I whacked Annie in the face so hard. She was like: No, no, keep going because she was so into it. Two hours later, she’s sitting in the back of a car with an ice pack on her face. I was so bad. I really clocked her.”

The actress shared that she and her co-star Anne Hathaway worked super hard to prepare themselves for their role, and it was fun working together in this flick. Talking about her film, the actress shared, 

“It’s a movie about something almost everybody can relate to, which is the insanity of what happens to women when they get married. What was most important to me about this story, though, was the relationship between the two girls.”
