Johnson took to his Twitter account to thank his fans for helping him to achieve this. This feat of his also shows that The Rock’s filmography has a special place among modern Gen Z audiences.
Gen Z essentially refers to the population born in the early 21st century and well-accustomed to the internet, social media, and other technological advancements from a very young age. While the former WWE Wrestler stands as a very influential and well-known figure among today’s youth, it can’t be denied that it was mainly his career in acting that elevated Dwayne Johnson’s popularity.

The Rock started his acting era with The Mummy Returns in 2001 as The Scorpion King. After that, he never had to look back as he went on to grab some memorable ventures such as Jumanji and Fast and the Furious.

Following The Rock, the list follows Spider-Man fame Tom Holland in the second place and Johnny Depp in the third. Interestingly, Depp who headlined the news a lot in the recent past got the top spot among a list of Gen X celebrities but Johnson proved to be more successful in tapping into a young fanbase.
Besides the movies, the Seven Bucks Production owner is also hugely active on his social media and has also stated many times that he loves to listen to his fans. This also plays one of the key factors why everyone loves him. The 50-year-old’s latest flick Black Adam failed at the box office and he couldn’t make a name for himself in the DC. With the news of Teth Adam’s absence in DC’s near future, Dwayne Johnson has to wait for a big comeback venture.
