During his appearance on the WrestleBinge podcast, Lashley claimed that The Rock’s presence in Royal Rumble would be awesome, but he’d also be willing to take the actor out.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has been a prominent part of the WWE universe since his inception. Winning several championships and earning accolades, the actor even won the Royal Rumble match in 2000, albeit under controversial circumstances. Thereafter, Johnson eventually left wrestling and ventured into Hollywood to try his luck in acting.
However, on a recent note, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson began 2024 on a rocking note after making an unexpected comeback in WWE. Returning to the wrestling universe on Day 1 Raw, Johnson even teased a future match with Roman Reigns. Now, ever since his comeback, fans are wondering if he would appear in the Royal Rumble that is set to take place during the weekend.

Addressing Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s potential appearance in the Royal Rumble, WWE star Bobby Lashley spoke about his opinion on the return. Speaking with Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, Lashley noted that Johnson’s return would be “incredible”. Since he is “one of the biggest names in everything right now”, Lashley believes his comeback will bring a “tremendous amount of views”.

During the podcast, Bobby Lashley shared his honest opinion on Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s appearance in the Royal Rumble. But while doing so, he also issued a warning to the wrestler-turned-actor. Claiming that he would “throw him out” and “take him out”, Lashley made headlines despite a lack of confirmation about Johnson’s return.
“I mean, it’s The Rock. Probably one of the biggest names in everything right now. So when he comes back, that always brings a tremendous amount of views. You know what, anybody that wants to take a step to the next level, take him out. If he comes in and I have an opportunity to throw him out, I will throw him out.”
Further, Bobby Lashley admitted that it is often difficult to take down some of the great stars in the business since they draw a lot of attention and views from the crowd. Calling Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson among such great stars, Lashley stated that although it would be awesome to see The Rock in the Royal Rumble, he’d also be willing to take him out.
“I mean, of course, we have so many great superstars in this business that were former world champions, and then just having that huge name and that huge fan base, it’s gonna be hard to beat a lot of the guys… If you’re running out and people give you an ovation like they’re gonna give Rock, man, you could move mountains in that case. So that would be awesome, for him coming in. But of course, I’d be one willing to take him out if I had that opportunity.”
Although it’s unconfirmed if Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson will return to the Royal Rumble, he already seems to have a competitor in Bobby Lashley. Meanwhile, fans are hoping for the actor to make his comeback in Royal Rumble, just like he surprised them with his return during Day 1 Raw.
