Iman Vellani‘s character is loved and liked by numerous Marvel fans, who also deem it to be extremely relatable. From being an avid Marvel fan to actually working alongside her idol in The Marvels, many label Kamala Harris as the only good part of the commercially failed movie. Her second appearance has left fans wanting more and the call for Ms Marvel season 2 has significantly amplified.

While no confirmation has been given yet, Iman Vellani recently spoke with The Direct and revealed if a season two takes place she would love to go head to head with Doc.X, just like in the comics.

“Definitely Doc.X. I think that’s a great villain from the comics and can really resonate with the Gen Z audience. It would be so interesting—I don’t know, messing with kids’ psyche almost when you have this villain who only exists on your phone, and on your laptops, and on all your screens that we can’t avoid. I think it’d be really interesting position to put them all in to fight against something that you can’t even see, right? Yeah. Yeah, that’s one of my favorite comic storylines. So I would love to see that play out.”

Doc.X is an AI computer virus and comes in contact with the young superhero through her gaming addiction. While this is just a theory, it would certainly be great to have the charming Ms Marvel back on screen going against the sentient computer virus.

Iman Vellani went on from the small screen to the big screen in just a short amount of time. Despite the quick transition, the actress had a fun time shooting for her box office bomb. However, she explained to The Direct that it wasn’t a crazy transition but actually felt nice.

But what she certainly enjoyed a lot was the tech level-up the movie had in comparison to her Disney+ series.

“I think the craziest part for the film was like the tech–We leveled up like crazy. I think we got to use the Volume, which was super cool. It really elevated the entire filmmaking experience for me.”

Well, even with her box office failure she remains a favorite among the fans and this is perhaps a sign enough for Marvel to bring her back as Ms Marvel in light of its recent commercial failures.

The Marvels is still in theatres.
