In the 2000 film, Brendan Fraser portrayed the role of an introverted shy man who is helped by The Devil in exchange for his soul. The rom-com was also a special one since Fraser had his newly found fame by his side for starring as Rick O’Connell in the 1999 movie The Mummy.
Being one of the nicest actors out there, it is no wonder that his co-star Elizabeth Hurley, who portrayed the role of The Devil wants to work with him again. Gushing over the 54-year-old actor, Hurley stated in an interview with People that she and Fraser lost contact after the film but he was one of the nicest co-stars that she had the privilege of working with.
“I would love to work with Brendan again. He was one of my favorite costars. Brendan and I got on so fantastically when we shot ‘Bedazzled’ and then didn’t speak. We didn’t speak at all until I got invited to this screening of ‘The Whale.’ And I was so excited that I’d see Brendan again.”
The Austin Powers actress didn’t stop there as she professed her love for Brendan Fraser by commenting on how happy she was that Fraser got the opportunity to shine again.

Talking about Fraser’s 2022 film, Hurley couldn’t help herself but compliment Fraser in the film. Portraying the role of an English teacher crawling to his death, Fraser’s character gets one last chance at redemption with his estranged daughter.
Speaking to People, Elizabeth Hurley revealed that she loved the movie and she loves Brendan Fraser.
“I just was so bowled over by how fabulous he is in this movie. And Brendan is one of the nicest human beings you could ever meet, and I’m just so happy for him that he’s just had this opportunity to shine again. And it was wonderful meeting up with him. It’s been 20 years since I tortured him in ‘Bedazzled.’ I loved [‘The Whale’] and I love him,”
Working alongside the actress, Brendan Fraser’s 2000 film Bedazzled received a rating of 6.1/10 on IMDB and an average of 50% on Rotten Tomatoes. Fraser’s magnum opus The Whale is currently available to stream on Paramount+ in the U.S.
