But given a chance, Alexandra Daddario desires to make a comeback in The White Lotus. Speaking about possibly reprising her role in the show’s season 3, the actress expressed her excitement. Although it’s not confirmed if Daddario will get the opportunity, the show creator Mike White had previously teased an all-star installment of The White Lotus.
Alexandra Daddario Desires to Return in The White Lotus
Alexandra Daddario has often appeared in renowned projects like the Percy Jackson movies, Baywatch, San Andreas, and more. But nothing turned her into a fan-favorite character like her role as Rachel Patton in the HBO show The White Lotus. Introduced as a sympathetic character who is trapped in a marriage with a man that she may not love, Daddario earned major recognition for her role.
However, after her role in the first installment concluded as a struggling journalist choosing the comfort and safety of being rich, over bringing a drastic change in her life, Alexandra Daddario recently expressed her desire to make a comeback. Willing to return as Rachel Patton in the third season of The White Lotus, the actress spoke with InStyle about her desire.
“I love working with Mike [White]. I’d always go back if it made sense and he had a good idea. I just want to see what he has in store. He’s such a genius and everything is so wild and you never know what to expect. I just want to see more of the same.”
Stating out loud that she’s always open to returning to the HBO hit series in the future, depending on the idea, Alexandra Daddario excited fans with her decision.
Mike White is Yet to Confirm Alexandra Daddario’s Return
However, as of now, although Alexandra Daddario has expressed her desire, nothing has been confirmed by the show creator Mike White. Currently focused on making further seasons and episodes of The White Lotus, White is yet to share details about season 3. As of now, the director has only revealed that season 3 will be filmed in Thailand, in a wellness spa.
Mike White has informed fans that the upcoming episodes will be longer, bigger, and wilder, but nothing has been shared about the cast. The only confirmed actress from season 1 who will be reprising her role is Natasha Rothwell, who played Belinda. And since she previously had a few scenes with Daddario’s character, fans believe this might bring back the Baywatch actress for the sake of storyline and connection.
The creator of the show had previously teased an all-star installment of The White Lotus, which also offered fans the hope to witness Alexandra Daddario’s return. However, nothing apart from these few titbits confirmed Daddario’s return in The White Lotus season 3.
