Ashton Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon’s red carpet photos from the premiere of their upcoming Netflix film have been widely circulated on the internet. The Vengeance actor’s unexpected awkwardness has been the true material for the meme makers. Multiple posts and memes were viral on the internet for the awkward appearance of the two stars.
A Lot Like Love star has clarified his side while appearing in a podcast. Kutcher and Witherspoon appeared at their film’s premiere but maintained an awkward distance from each other. Unlike other stars who appear while wrapped in each other’s arms, Your Place or Mine stars were keeping their hands to themselves at the premiere. Ashton Kutcher revealed that he was afraid that he may be alleged by the internet that he was in a relationship with his co-star if he appeared to happily put his arm around the Legally Blonde star.
“Here’s the thing: if I put my arm around her, and was like all friendly with her, I’d be having an affair with her. Like, the rumor would be that I’m having an affair with her. If I stand next to her and put my hands in my pockets so there’s no chance that that could be the rumor, then the rumor is we don’t like each other.”

Mila Kunis’ Mailed Ashton Kutcher And Reese Witherspoon
Kutcher added that rather than seeing countless memes about his awkward appearance he was encountered by his own wife Mila Kunis who mailed both Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon after their awkward premiere.
“My wife called me. She texted Reese and me together and said, ‘Guys, you gotta, like… act like you like each other’.”
It looks like Kunis is not insecure to see her husband on-screen with other actresses. No Strings Attached star added that the possible reason for his awkward appearance during the premiere can be his inability to hear fully from one of his ears.
“I don’t know who’s calling my name, but I know there’s a lot of people yelling, ‘Reese! Ashton! Over here!’ If you’re gonna tell me, in that entire 20-minute period, at one point you’re not gonna have an awkward face on, then you’re better than I am and I’m cool with that.”
Nonetheless the reasons behind those viral awkward photos from the premiere, the internet is pretty filled with Kutcher’s photographs. Both the actors of Your Place or Mine clarified that there was no such awkwardness during the shoot, especially when they both were playing each other’s love interests in the film. Your Place or Mine is the upcoming Netflix romantic comedy film that will be released on February 10, 2023.
