The Advantage Eiichiro Oda Has in One Piece
According to @sandman_AP on X(Formerly Twitter), in 2007, Oda gave an interview where he revealed how it is possible for him to make so many small worlds in the One Piece universe and still keep it relevant to the central theme of the story of pirates and their adventures. All of this was possible because of the reasoning that he mentioned in the One Piece manga.
Oda stated:
I can draw anything I want because I have a reasoning in my manga that says, *In Grand Line, anything is possible*. If I want to draw a country like India, I can just draw it in the next arc. If I want to draw a sports manga, I can just create Sports Island.
According to the manga creator, when the Straw Hat Pirates reached the Grand Line, a reasoning was given to the One Piece fans through the manga series “In Grand Line, anything is possible.”
This allowed the fans to broaden their scope of the upcoming arcs and narratives in One Piece and get ready for any kind of surprise. It also gave Oda complete comfort in mapping the One Piece world however he sees fit.
