Shift Up’s latest action-adventure game, Stellar Blade, has been turning heads for some time now. The game has caught the eyes of the players with its combat animations, and character designs. Apart from the gameplay and the animations, the protagonist of the game has become the talk of the town.
Eve, the female protagonist of the game, has caused quite a stir online. Her character has been called out by many due to the s*xualized portrayal of women. Despite all of this, others have come out and praised her amazing character design and combat skills.
Stellar Blade fans are rooting for Eve
With all the hype going around it, many are eagerly waiting for the game. The game is scheduled to come out on April 26. However, there are a few fans who got their hands on the game before its release. Several fans started to share images of their Stellar Blade’s copy online.
One such Stellar Blade fan took to X, and shared a small clip from the gameplay. User @Dream_WaIker shared a clip of a small puzzle from the game and added,
“There’s a puzzle in Stellar Blade where the iconic PlayStation symbols △ O ☐ X are used as a mechanic!”
This clip was further shared on X by user @RinoTheBouncer. The user also spoke about the probability of Eve becoming the next PlayStation icon.

From the comments on the post, it looks like fans are already hoping to see Eve on par with other PlayStation icons such as Kratos, Nathan Drake, Joel, Ellie, and Astrobot. Stellar Blade fans commented-

Stellar Blade has all the components to become a hit action-adventure game. Eve has sleek combat animations and eye-catching character design. Therefore, will Eve become the next PlayStation icon. Well, this is something we have to wait and watch.
Stellar Blade’s editions and their prices
Stellar Blade is a PS5 exclusive and will come out on April 26 at midnight local time. The file size is around 35 GB, and those who have pre-purchased it can pre-load the game now. The game will come in two editions: Standard and Digital Deluxe.
