Marvel has been known for making on-point casting for a long time, such as the signing of Samuel L. Jackson and Chris Evans, with Robert Downey Jr. being the best choice of all. But after Kim Kardashian expressed interest in joining the MCU, fans have been anxious.
The MCU has already received a lot of flack for its phase 4 productions, including Thor: Love and Thunder and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. These productions are a result of Marvel going more experimental.
Kim Kardashian in the MCU?
The success of a franchise attracts celebrities, as it did with Ed Sheeran in Game of Thrones and Megan Thee Stallion as herself in She-Hulk. Joining the party, Kim Kardashian also expressed interest in joining the MCU to Interview Magazine:
“Would I act? I would if something fun came about. Maybe a Marvel movie, that would be so fun to do. I’m not actively looking, but I think things just come when they’re supposed to.”

Becoming a part of MCU is a lucrative opportunity for any artist or celebrity, as it generally catapults them into stardom, with Tom Holland being a prime example. So it’s no surprise that Kim Kardashian would be interested in gaining more spotlight.
Fans rage against the idea
In reaction to Kim Kardashian throwing her hat in the ring, fans have become concerned about the prospect. Many fans also asserted that if the celeb joins their beloved franchise, they would stop watching.

Despite her earnest interest in joining Marvel, maybe she might not be best suited for the job. Though the MCU has expanded quite a few projects, so it wouldn’t be too difficult to fit her in somewhere.
