The TV Series is a prequel that is set about 100 years before the prequel trilogy and the Fall of the Republic. The story revolves around a young Padawan reuniting with her Master to find a killer, who either attacks or kills Jedis.

Of course, Star Wars can be fun and goofy at times and fun to watch. However, the upcoming show has a more mature and darker take on what a lot of fans are used to watching. With the franchise expanding, it will probably feature more weapons like the lightsaber whip that had divided its fans.
However, on the brighter side, it means the creator has done her homework and has explored the Star Wars universe, which already makes it a pretty exciting watch. Headland has decided to take the $10.3 billion franchise to a new era.
While Yoda might be potentially featured in the show because his species can live for centuries it is a speculation on my part. Nevertheless, the show looks like a ton of fun and a lot of Star Wars fans have high hopes for the upcoming series.

Nevertheless, fans are excited to watch the series as the show has blown away the critics, and everyone believes that the void created in the Star Wars franchise was in the shape of The Acolyte.
The Acolyte is scheduled to premiere on 4 June 2024 on Disney+.
