Brad Pitt and George Clooney first met on the sets of the 2001 heist comedy movie, Ocean’s Eleven. Ever since, although the two actors might not have collaborated as often, they certainly share an incredible friendship and chemistry that has transcended on-screen in Ocean’s 12 and Ocean’s 13.

But after 24 years of being friends and 16 years of not working together, the two of Hollywood’s most admired men will be back on-screen with their latest comedy thriller, Wolfs. Both playing fixers, hired for the same job, the trailer for the film showcases their impeccable chemistry even when their characters are totally aversive to working together with each other.

Also, co-producers for the film, Clooney and Pitt’s latest collaboration Wolfs will be released by Sony in theatres on September 20, later this year. Directed by the acclaimed MCU director behind No Way Home and Homecoming, Jon Watts’  the movie’s cast also includes Austin Abrams, Amy Ryan, and more.

As we eagerly anticipate the release of Wolfs, it is for sure that the magic of Pitt and Clooney’s on-screen partnership will continue to captivate and amaze the audiences. Seeing the iconic duo reunite, one can only think of how great it would be if they were to star in another Ocean’s movie.

Brad Pitt, 60, and George Clooney, 63, have not starred together since the 2008 movie Burn After Reading. Yet, after their famous collaboration in the Ocean’s franchise, fans have been wanting to see more of them. Technically, they reunited earlier this year in John Krasinski’s IF. But it can hardly be called a reunion since Pitt was a character who never spoke, and Clooney voiced one of the many imaginary friends in the movie.

While it was wonderful to see their names in the cast list of the same movie, it is the trailer for Wolfs that truly shows just how formidable and perfect they are as a duo on screen. Despite their characters being hostile to each other, their chemistry is amazing, signaling that it is about time we got another Ocean’s movie.

With Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling starrer Ocean’s prequel already in the works and Clooney teasing that there is already a really good script for another Ocean’s movie in an interview with Uproxx, fans are eagerly anticipating the possibility of seeing Brad Pitt and George Clooney team up once again for another exciting heist in the Ocean’s series.

The combination of their star power and an entertaining plot about a clever heist is a proven winning formula, making their potential reunion in the franchise all the more enticing.

Wolfs will be in theatres on September 20, 2024.
